Min Yoon-gi, known professionally as Suga and Agust D, is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and producer born on March 9, 1993. He debuted in 2013 as a member of the globally successful boy band BTS under Big Hit Entertainment. As a solo artist, Suga released the mixtapes Agust D in 2016 and D-2 in 2020, both earning strong chart positions internationally. His first solo album, D-Day, came out in 2023 and debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200, making him one of the highest-charting South Korean solo artists. Suga is recognized for his extensive songwriting and production work, with credits on over 160 songs, including the award-winning track Wine by Suran.
