Audio-Technica BP28 Відео мікрофон
The BP28 is a short hypercardioid shotgun condenser microphone developed for broadcast, film, and ENG applications where maximum directional control in a compact package is required. Unlike traditional line-plus-gradient shotguns, the BP28 achieves its directional pattern through a hypercardioid element rather than an interference tube, resulting in more consistent off-axis rejection across the entire frequency range rather than only in the mid and high frequencies.
Hypercardioid Directional Design
The hypercardioid polar pattern of the BP28 delivers tight front pickup with a small rear lobe, providing effective side rejection across the full frequency spectrum. This gives the BP28 more predictable off-axis behavior than interference tube designs, particularly in the low frequencies where tube shotguns typically revert to near-omni pickup.
Frequency Response for Broadcast
The frequency response is optimized for speech and broadcast dialogue, with a flat midrange and gentle presence lift for intelligibility. The BP28's low self-noise and high sensitivity make it well suited to boom pole use at standard production distances, providing clean dialogue recordings for broadcast and film post.
Phantom Power and Build Quality
Operating on 48V phantom power, the BP28 features a robust metal body with a standard shock mount thread. A switchable high-pass filter assists with low-frequency noise rejection on location shoots where traffic, wind, and environmental noise require management.
