Brian Joseph Burton, known as Danger Mouse, is an influential American musician and producer born in 1977. He gained widespread attention in 2004 with The Grey Album, a groundbreaking mashup of Jay-Z and The Beatles. Danger Mouse is known for his collaborations, forming Gnarls Barkley with CeeLo Green and Broken Bells with James Mercer. He has also teamed up with MF Doom as Danger Doom and with Black Thought on Cheat Codes. As a producer, Danger Mouse has worked with major artists like Gorillaz, Beck, The Black Keys, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Norah Jones, Adele, and ASAP Rocky. Recognized for his innovative sound and versatility, he has received 22 Grammy nominations and six wins, and was named one of Esquire's 75 most influential people of the 21st century.
