Duke D-MC-Cut-Solid-Air Електроакустична гітара Dreadnought

Duke D-MC-Cut-Solid-Air — All-Solid Dreadnought with Battery-Free Pickup

The Duke D-MC-Cut-Solid-Air is a modern Dreadnought cutaway electro-acoustic guitar that combines all-solid tonewood construction with a stage-ready pickup system. Built around a solid Canadian cedar top and solid mahogany back and sides, this instrument is designed for players who want the warm highs and powerful basses of a traditional Dreadnought with the convenience of an integrated pickup. The D-MC-Cut-Solid-Air is the right choice for singer-songwriters and gigging acoustic players who need a reliable, naturally amplified instrument that retains its acoustic character on stage.

All-Solid Tonewoods and Battery-Free Pickup

What makes this guitar stand out is the combination of a solid Canadian cedar top with solid mahogany back and sides, finished in high gloss and accented with abalone inlays and closed gold tuners with ebony buttons. The MiSi Trio Air active pickup is battery-free, lightweight, and amplifies the guitar's natural voice. Every Duke is finalized by experienced luthiers in Tübingen, Germany, with dressed and polished frets and a play-ready string action straight out of the box.

Solid Tonewoods for a Dynamic Dreadnought Voice

The tonewood combination is the heart of this guitar's character. A solid Canadian cedar top provides warmth and quick response, while solid mahogany back and sides focus the midrange and add the punch that Dreadnought players look for in a flatpicker's instrument.

• Top Material: Solid Canadian Cedar — warm highs and a responsive attack that opens up with playing.
• Back & Sides: Solid Mahogany — focused midrange and woody low end for strumming and fingerstyle alike.
• Finish: High Gloss — sealed surface that protects the tonewoods and reflects light on stage.

High-Grade Hardware for Long-Term Playability

The neck is carved from Spanish cedar (cedro) with a dual-action trussrod for precise setup adjustments, topped with an ebony fingerboard that feels smooth under the hand. Gold closed tuners with ebony buttons, a bone nut and saddle, and an ebony bridge complete the hardware package.

• Neck Material: Spanish Cedar (Cedro) — lightweight and stable, with a comfortable playing feel.
• Fingerboard: Ebony — dense, smooth surface that supports clean articulation.
• Scale Length: 650 mm — standard Dreadnought scale that delivers strong bass response and string tension.
• Nut Width: 45 mm — comfortable for both strumming chords and fingerstyle work.

Battery-Free Pickup and Play-Ready Setup

The MiSi Trio Air active pickup system runs without batteries, so the guitar is always ready to plug in. The all-solid construction, mahogany binding, and Elixir Nanoweb 80/20 Bronze string set (.012–.053) round out the package.

• Preamp Electronics: MiSi Trio Air — battery-free active system that preserves the acoustic tone when amplified.
• Construction: All Solid — solid top, back, and sides for a guitar that will age and improve with playing.
• Binding: Mahogany — clean visual edge that complements the high-gloss finish.

For Gigging Singer-Songwriters and Serious Acoustic Players

The D-MC-Cut-Solid-Air is aimed at intermediate and advanced players who want a reliable Dreadnought for live performance and recording. The cutaway gives easy access to the upper frets for lead lines and fingerstyle work, while the Dreadnought body delivers the volume and projection needed for unamplified playing in small venues. The MiSi Trio Air pickup makes it a strong choice for singer-songwriters who perform solo or in a duo, where the guitar needs to carry the mix. Players will also appreciate the play-ready setup performed by Duke's guitar builders in Tübingen.
