For the Hofner classical guitars in our 'GREENLINE' series we use indigenous woods only. Walnut or maple is used for the resonance body and solid German spruce for the top. The surface is treated with environmentally friendly lacquers. The HGL5 has a walnut body and a solid spruce top with a satin finish.It delivers a bright sound but without being sharp and produces excellent response.
