Electro-acoustic bass guitar with cutaway dreadnought body shape from Artwood series that delivers great tone, style and playability at an incredible value – because the Ibanez guiding philosophy for acoustic, “a modern approach to acoustic guitar tradition”, extends quite naturally to the acoustic bass collection. The instrument features a solid Sitka spruce top with X bracing and black binding, combined with mahogany back and sides to provide powerful and crispy sound with richer low-mid. The mahogany neck, connected via dovetail neck joint at the 17th fret, is fitted with a 400mm-radius rosewood fingerboard wit 20 frets. Scale length is 863.6 mm, nut width is 43 mm. The bass guitar is equipped with the Fishman Sonicore piezo pickup and the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp with on-board tuner that delivers excellent reproduction and control of tonal characteristics and easy operation, while 1/4" and XLR outputs provide options for a variety of direct plug-in applications. Preamp requires 9V battery for operation. Other features include a rosewood bridge, black pickguard, chrome die-cast tuners and D’Addario EXPPBB170 strings (.045-.100).
