The KH 120-II model is the successor of the popular KH 120 A type, with a DSP processor and better parameters. It is intended for "nearfield" applications, i.e. mainly for close listening. However, it can also be used as a rear or effect speaker in multi-channel systems. Like all studio monitors, Neumann follows this philosophy: the highest possible linearity, the lowest possible distortion, no sound coloration and perfect adaptation to the acoustic environment.

It has a precise MMD (Mathematically Modeled Dispersion) ear canal for a wider sweet spot and reduction of reflections from the table or mixing desk, and switches for correcting the frequency curve depending on the placement of the speakers in the room. You can also entrust this setting to the MA 1 automatic calibration (separate accessory), which, in cooperation with the built-in DSP processor, sets all parameters exactly according to the acoustics of the room

The KH 120-II is the perfect tool for both studio monitoring, mixing and music mastering, as well as for broadcasting and post-production studios. This professional monitor provides neutral and accurate reproduction throughout the sound spectrum. Precise bass reproduction starts from 44 Hz, which is easily comparable to much larger systems. Manufactured with a tolerance of only ±0.5dB between individual pieces, the stereo is truly razor sharp.

It is produced in anthracite and white and also in an AES67 version, compatible with Audio over IP standards (ST 2110, ST 2022-7, RAVENNA and DANTE®).
