This cajon comes standard with the Cuban íon and the Turkish íon. The Cuban íon is meticulously handcrafted from 100% natural goatskin, drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of Afro-Cuban percussion. Each goatskin is unique, both in thickness and color, providing a distinct tonal character. For enhanced flexibility and longevity, treating the skin with vegetable fat is recommended, allowing for personalized sound adjustments. The goatskin produces warm, resonant tones, ideal for a variety of Latin rhythms.

The Turkish íon features a synthetic skin, available in blue or green, designed to withstand varying climatic conditions and humidity. Its lightweight construction ensures exceptional responsiveness, while its thin profile delivers a powerful sound projection with pronounced mids and bright highs.
