African djembe with head made of goat skin with 8” diameter, characteristic by deep, resonant bass tones and high, sharp slap tones. Drum is hand-carved from a single piece of sun-dried Ghanaian hardwood and features a hand-stained ‘natural varnish’ finish. It is also equipped with 5 mm non-stretch rope for easy and stable tuning.
