StageConnect-to-ADAT Conversion for Modern Stage Rigs

The Behringer SC-ADAT is a dedicated bridge that translates a StageConnect bus into ADAT/TOSLINK optical I/O, opening the door between Behringer's StageConnect ecosystem and the vast installed base of ADAT-equipped hardware. Two optical inputs and two optical outputs carry 16×16 channels of 48 kHz / 24-bit digital audio, moving a full stage's worth of signal over fibre in a single compact box. Optical Isolation and StageConnect Backbone in One Box

Because the ADAT side uses TOSLINK fibre-optic links, the connection inherently provides galvanic isolation between devices and naturally prevents ground-loop hum — a real benefit in venues with mixed power systems. On the bus side, the unit carries StageConnect's 32-channel bidirectional audio with sub-millisecond latency at 44.1/48 kHz and 24 bits, distributed over XLR for shorter runs or DMX cable for maximum range.

Connectivity — StageConnect and ADAT in One Unit

Connectivity defines what this bridge can actually do. The unit accepts a StageConnect input and Toslink optical signals, and exposes both XLR Female and XLR Male connectors on the StageConnect side.
