Wireless Saxophone and Wind Instrument Microphone System — 2.4 GHz Freedom for Horn Players

The Nux B-6 PRO is a 2.4 GHz wireless microphone system engineered for saxophone, trumpet, and other wind instruments. Operating on the license-free 2400–2483.5 MHz band, it removes the cable between player and mixer. This system is the right choice for gigging horn players who need a clip-on condenser mic that pairs in seconds and stays locked through long sets.

Pedal-Style Receiver With Pro EQ, Tuner, and Send/Return Loop

The receiver is a stompbox-format unit with a 2.4-inch color display, a built-in digital tuner, a 0 to +12 dB booster, and a hardware send/return loop for inserting effects pedals. Eleven professionally tuned EQ presets cover soprano, alto, and tenor saxophone plus trumpet, with two user slots for custom curves. The transmitter snaps magnetically onto the receiver for cable-free recharging.

Wireless Performance and Audio Specifications

The 2.4 GHz link supports 79 channels with intelligent frequency hopping and true-diversity antennas, automatically selecting the cleanest channel in busy RF environments. Audio runs at 24-bit / 48 kHz with a 122 dB dynamic range and THD+N below 0.01%. The pedalboard-format receiver is not rackmountable.

Who Should Choose This System

The Nux B-6 PRO is the right choice for saxophonists, trumpeters, and other wind players who want a clip-on wireless mic that disappears on the bell and frees them to move across the stage. Home recordists benefit from the USB-C audio path that streams straight into a phone or laptop without an audio interface, while multi-instrumentalists will appreciate the per-instrument EQ presets and effects loop.

From the B-6 to the Pro: A Saxophone Mic Line Grown Up

The original wireless saxophone system earned a loyal following for its compact clamp and natural tone. The Pro version builds on that with a redesigned shock-absorbing gooseneck, a stompbox receiver with pro EQ and effects loop, and the brand's PRO-series wireless platform featuring true-diversity antennas for stable coexistence in crowded venues.
