Professional Wireless Microphone Distribution in a Single Rack Unit

The DISTRO9 HDR is a 9-channel multi-zone antenna distribution system that streamlines complex wireless microphone installations. This rackmount unit consolidates splitters, amplifiers, and power supplies into one signal path. The DISTRO9 HDR is the right choice for live sound engineers, broadcast technicians, and touring teams who need reliable RF distribution. Operating across VHF, T-Band, and UHF bands from 50 to 1000 MHz, it feeds up to nine wireless receivers with low-noise, high dynamic range amplification.

What Sets This Distributor Apart

High dynamic range (HDR) circuitry reduces intermodulation, which typically increases the number of usable channels. Two independent input zones, each with DC power for active antennas or in-line amplifiers, give operators flexibility for large venues. Any output cascades to a second unit, expanding capacity to 17 channels in 2 RU.

RF Performance and Frequency Coverage

The wideband design covers every current professional wireless microphone band.

• Frequency Range: 50 to 1000 MHz (VHF, UHF, +900 Bands) — covers every current pro wireless mic band
• Third Order Intercept Point: 15 dBm at VHF, 20+ dBm at UHF
• Output Connection Isolation: 60 dB at 510 MHz, 80 dB at 200 MHz

Connectivity, Power, and Channel Capacity

Two diversity antenna inputs, nine receiver outputs, and integrated DC power replace separate supplies.

• Number of Channels: 9 — feeds up to nine wireless receivers
• Input Zones: 2 (each with 2x diversity RF inputs)
• Output Voltage to Receivers: 12 VDC, 5 A via Anderson Power Pole
• Input AC Voltage: 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 2 A — universal mains for global touring

Physical Build and Rack Integration

A compact 1 RU chassis and lightweight construction make this distributor easy to integrate into any rack.

• Form Factor: 1 RU rackmount, 48 x 4.5 x 25 cm
• Weight: 2.7 kg — light enough for touring fly racks
• Impedance: 50 Ohms
• Package Contents: AC power cord
