Zuzana Růžičková (1927–2017) was a renowned Czech harpsichordist celebrated for her interpretations of classical and baroque music. She was the first harpsichordist to record all of Johann Sebastian Bach's keyboard works, a landmark project completed in the 1960s and 1970s. A survivor of Nazi concentration camps during her youth, she later emerged as a leading musician, performing internationally for five decades and producing over 100 recordings. Married to composer Viktor Kalabis, she resisted political pressure under the Communist regime in Czechoslovakia. Růžičková was also a dedicated teacher, influencing a generation of musicians.
