XVive U4R Wireless In-Ear Monitor Receiver

The XVive U4R is the bodypack receiver half of the XVive U4 digital wireless in-ear monitoring system. Paired with the U4T plug-on transmitter, it receives a mono monitor mix on the license-free 2.4 GHz ISM band and routes it to any 3.5 mm headphones or in-ear monitors. Built for performers needing reliable, low-latency monitoring on stage and in the studio.

What Sets the U4R Apart

The U4R pairs a sub-5 ms latency figure with a full 24-bit/48 kHz audio path and a 107 dB signal-to-noise ratio — specs typically reserved for higher-priced systems. An all-metal bodypack housing and oversized knurled volume knob support on-stage durability and blind adjustments mid-performance.

Wireless Performance and Audio Quality

Six switchable channels allow up to six separate U4 systems to coexist in the same venue, with a stable connection over a 27.5 m / 90 ft line-of-sight range and full 20 Hz – 20 kHz frequency coverage.

• Operation in the 2.4 GHz ISM worldwide open band ensures license-free usage in any country.
• Bit Depth / Sample Rate: 24-bit / 48 kHz — better-than-CD audio resolution
• Latency: 5 ms — effectively imperceptible for live performance
• Signal-to-Noise Ratio: 107 dB — clean, hiss-free monitoring

Receiver Hardware and Connectivity

A solid metal belt clip keeps the bodypack secured to a strap or waistband, while the 3.5 mm headphone jack accepts standard in-ear monitors without an adapter.

• Headphone Output: 3.5 mm / 1/8" stereo jack — universal IEM compatibility
• Receiver Dimensions: 60 x 47 x 41 mm — compact belt-friendly form factor
• Receiver Weight: 118 g — light enough for all-day wear

Battery Life and Charging

The internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers up to 5 hours per charge, and the receiver can be used while plugged in for extended sessions.

• Battery Life: 5 hours — covers most gigs and rehearsals
• Charging Time: 2.5 hours (full charge) — quick turnaround between sessions
• Charging Port: USB-C — modern, widely available cable standard
• Usable While Charging: Yes — zero downtime during long sessions
