The AT-LP2X is a fully automatic belt drive turntable with switchable controls for playing 12 ”and 7” vinyl records at one of two speeds - 33-1 / 3 and 45 RPM. Because it is fully automatic, starting and stopping your recordings is done simply by pressing the START and STOP buttons on the front of the player. With these controls, you won't have to manually lift the needle to play your favorite music - the buttons will automatically raise and position the arm. However, if you would like to do this manually, the hydraulically damped lift control allows you to accurately and safely lower and lift the transmission at any point in the recording.

The balanced straight arm AT-LP2X comes with a 1/2 ”universal headshell and AT91R Dual Moving Magnet phono cartridge from Audio-Technica with the option to switch between other cartridges with a moving magnet or a moving coil. All this will give you an excellent listening experience with high fidelity and flexibility in innovation. It has an anti-resonance die-cast aluminum plate with a felt pad. It boasts a cushioned base construction for reduced low-frequency feedback, a 45-rpm adapter and a hinged dust cover.

On the back of the AT-LP2X is a PHONO / LINE switch, a connected output cable with double RCA and an AC input for connecting the supplied power cable. Depending on your settings, you can set the PHONO / LINE switch to LINE when using an AT-LP2X with a stereo preamplifier, or to PHONO - which turns on the internal preamplifier - when connected directly to the speakers.
