Car Seat Headrest is an indie rock band originally from Leesburg, Virginia and now based in Seattle. Led by Will Toledo, who started the project in 2010, the band includes Ethan Ives, Seth Dalby, and Andrew Katz. Known for their emotionally charged songwriting and energetic performances, Car Seat Headrest first gained attention with a series of self-released albums on Bandcamp before joining Matador Records in 2015. Since then, they have built a devoted following and are recognized for blending raw, lo-fi sounds with ambitious rock arrangements.
