Electric guitar from Z series that features a design created by Dean Guitars in 1977 to be the guitar with ultimate sustain and tone. Created with the Dean concept of spreading the mass of the body over a large area, it offers something more. Dean believes radical string angles add to the resonance that helps a guitar become more alive. The distinctive headstock also creates extra-long string length for very specific sound. Played by many of rock's elite over the past two decades, this model has appeared in award winning videos, on stage and album covers, and more importantly, on some of rock's finest recordings. It features a light, basswood body with flat flame maple top, a bolt-on C-shaped maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard with pearl dot inlays, 22 jumbo frets and 14"/356mm radius. Scale length is 629 mm, width of the polymer (plastic) nut fret is 43 mm. The guitar is equipped with two DMT Design humbucker pickups, two Volume and one Tone control and a 3-way toggle switch. Other features include black hardware including die-cast tuners, Speed knobs and Tune-O-Matic bridge, dual action truss rod and D'Addario EXL120 strings (.009-.042). Charcoal Burst colour design.
