Dhani Harrison is an English and American musician, composer, and singer-songwriter, known as the son of George and Olivia Harrison. He began his professional career helping to complete his father’s final album, Brainwashed, with Jeff Lynne after George Harrison’s passing. In 2002, he formed his band thenewno2, which received critical acclaim for performances at Coachella and Lollapalooza. Harrison released his solo debut, In Parallel, in 2017, and followed it with a live film, In///Paralive, showcasing his work at Henson Studios in Los Angeles.
Beyond his solo and band projects, Harrison is also an accomplished composer for film and television, with credits including Beautiful Creatures, Good Girls Revolt, and the acclaimed documentaries Matangi Maya MIA, The Case Against Adnan Syed, and Inside Bill’s Brain Decoding Bill Gates. His collaborations span a wide range of genres and artists, from touring with Eric Clapton and joining Pearl Jam on stage, to recording with Wu-Tang Clan and guesting on albums by UNKLE and Perry Farrell. Notably, he performed alongside Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, and Prince at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tribute to his father. Harrison has also opened for Jeff Lynne’s ELO on tour, continuing his close association with influential musicians across generations.
