Joshua Paul Davis, known as DJ Shadow, is an American DJ and record producer from San Jose, California. He released his influential debut album, Endtroducing, in 1996, known for its innovative use of layered production and extensive sampling. DJ Shadow is considered a pioneering figure who helped revolutionize hip-hop music.
