DROPS Andes is a strong double-stranded yarn with a significant twist, composed of the already traditional combination of 65% wool and 35% alpaca. Such a composition gives it an alpaca silky appearance, while wool gives it more dimensional stability. The fibers of this yarn are not treated in any way - before dyeing they do not undergo any form of chemical treatment, only ordinary washing. This emphasizes the natural properties of the fibers and, in addition, gives them a better shape and structure.
