Dune Rats are a rock band from Brisbane, Australia, formed by Danny Beus and BC Michael Marks before expanding to a trio with bassist Brett Jansch. Known for their energetic garage and punk style, they first gained attention with the release of "Colour Television" in 2010. Their self-titled debut album arrived in 2014 through their own label, Ratbag Records, followed by a world tour and the launch of their label for other artists. Dune Rats achieved major success when their second album, The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit, debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2017. They continued to build on their reputation with subsequent releases, including Real Rare Whale in 2022, and announced their fifth album If It Sucks, Turn It Up in 2024.
