Focal Sub One is a sophisticated subwoofer for studio use. It consists of two 8 "(20 cm) Slatefiber cone woofer speakers made in France by Focal. The transducer material used by Focal and special manufacturing technology provide fast, reverberation impulse response due to their high rigidity and low weight. Strong neodymium magnets also ensure a strong response. The opposite orientation of the two drivers also results in a much more even distribution of the bass, so it is also suitable for smaller rooms.

The Sub One can be operated both with an internal switch and via an LFE input with an external switch. If you have a sound card with a DSP mixer, you can control the crossover frequency and high-pass subwoofer from your computer. But even the interior settings leave almost no room customization wishes unfulfilled. The crossover frequency can be infinitely adjusted from 32 to 120 Hz and a high-pass filter is available with a choice of two corner frequencies, so room modes and intermodulation distortions can be effectively controlled.

With a total RMS power of 200 W, it covers the frequency band from 32 Hz to 120 Hz. Sub One offers great dynamics while maintaining low distortion. It is designed with its width in mind and with the front vents it easily integrates into the room, along the wall or under the table.
