Hatebreed is a metalcore and hardcore band from Bridgeport, Connecticut, founded in 1994. Their 1997 debut album, Satisfaction Is the Death of Desire, earned them a devoted following. With the 2002 release of Perseverance on Universal Records, they reached the Billboard 200. Blending hardcore and heavy metal, Hatebreed has been a key influence in the Connecticut hardcore scene.
