Line 6 POD Go — HX Family Modeling in a Compact Floor Unit

The Line 6 POD Go is an ultra-portable amp and effects processor that features the HX modeling engine from the flagship Helix. Hundreds of amp, cab, and effect models are packed into a travel-friendly chassis with a color screen and color-coded footswitches. You get Helix-grade tones in a more affordable, compact format.

What Sets the POD Go Apart

Snapshot functionality distinguishes this model, letting you store and recall multiple parameter states in a single preset for fast changes on stage. Connect the dedicated Amp Out pre-cab to a real guitar amp, while Main Outs provide a fully modeled signal to PA.

Signal Flow and I/O — Hybrid Rig Ready

Any existing rig can be upgraded with this I/O setup. Repositionable stereo FX Loop enables use of the 4-cable method.

Modeling Engine and Processing

The HX engine offers the same models found in Helix studio rigs. Each preset supports up to 9 blocks.

• Blocks per Preset: 9 (5 fixed + 4 flexible) — complex chains without menu-diving
• Players benefit from built-in compression for more controlled clean tones, using the dynamics block.
• IR Loading: 128 third-party IR slots — load custom cabinet impulses

Control Surface and Footswitches

Color LCD footswitches display current block assignments for easy navigation. Wah and volume are handled by the built-in expression pedal.

• Assign the built-in EXP pedal or external FS 7–8 jack to any effect parameter you need on the fly.
