B.BeatX is the ideal solution for live performances using stereo sequences or up to 16 audio tracks, with support for video, text, and images. It plays music in WAV, multitrack audio, stems, MIDI, MP4, MOV, and JPG formats. You can load up to 16 mono or 8 stereo tracks, and store a large number of backing tracks. B.BeatX features a video output to synchronize visuals or lyrics with music, and supports displaying sheet music on wirelessly connected smart devices.

Digital Mixer

B.BeatX includes a digital mixer for 16 tracks across 8 separate outputs, 2 inputs, and a dedicated headphone output for click, mixer return, and backing tracks. The click track is automatically detected and can be routed to any output and to headphones. With four potentiometers, musicians can balance their headphone mix in real time.

B.Beat Expansion

B.BeatX can be synchronized with B.Beat or B.Beat Pro16. This allows for large audio projects of up to 32 mono (or 16 stereo) tracks and up to 14 total audio outputs (6 from B.Beat + 8 from B.BeatX). Using B.BeatX with B.Beat Pro16 allows for up to 32 tracks on 24 outputs. Two video outputs can also be used independently—for stage visuals and for lyrics prompting.

Sound Card

B.BeatX includes an 8-out / 2-in sound card compatible with Windows and Mac OS. It allows digital integration with your DAW for routing tracks during rehearsals or soundchecks, before transferring them into B.BeatX for live use.

Live Performance

Designed for maximum reliability, B.BeatX includes a dedicated [LIVE] mode to optimize performance and avoid accidental crashes. It also supports synchronization with automatic switch-over systems to prevent interruption in case of failure.

Video Output and Sheet Music

The video output can be used for synchronized visuals or to display lyrics. Sheet music in PDF format can be uploaded and assigned to different instruments, and viewed wirelessly on smart devices.

Organizing Your Show

Backing tracks can be organized into playlists or full shows with multiple scenes, including audio, video, images, and MIDI tracks. B.BeatX eliminates the need to bring computers, tablets, sound cards, and mixers on stage—everything is in one compact device.

Preparing for the Show

Create backing tracks in your DAW and transfer them using the B.Beat Manager app (for Windows and Mac). You can assign outputs, adjust volumes, and upload synchronized videos or separate media elements.

Metronome and Click

B.BeatX has a built-in metronome. The click can be routed to any of the 8 outputs and to the headphones simultaneously. When a click track is included in the backing tracks, it is automatically recognized and assigned accordingly.

Rack Mount Option

B.BeatX is rack-mountable using an optional 2U rack panel, making it easy to integrate into your live setup.

Song Service Compatibility

B.BeatX supports MTA (Multitrack Audio) files from M-Live’s Song Service. These are typically arranged as follows: Drums, bass, guitar, keyboards, orchestra, wind instruments, click, and melody. Projects with up to 16 stereo tracks can also be imported and adapted using any DAW.
