This model (PSC100B) is a sit-on box drum built for players who need their cajon to cut through a full band. Three factory-installed Piezo pickups capture bass and snare voices separately, so the signal stays balanced through any PA or amp. Handcrafted in Europe from Baltic birch, this Snarecraft-series instrument pairs the natural acoustic character of a wooden cajon with on-stage control. Three Piezo Pickups and a Link Jack for Flexible Setups

Two Piezo pickups sit on the snare zones and a third on the bass area, giving you a balanced signal without needing a separate mic. A quarter-inch "link" jack lets you chain another Meinl passive pickup instrument through the cajon's own volume and tone dials. The passive design means no batteries.

The body and frontplate are both built from Baltic birch (Betula pendula), a tonewood used in high-end drum kits for its tight grain and consistent resonance. Two fixed sets of coiled steel snare wires press against the playing surface, producing a crisp slap that holds up when amplified.
