Mura Masa is the stage name of Alexander George Edward Crossan, an electronic music producer and songwriter from Guernsey. Rising to fame with the 2016 track "Lovesick" featuring ASAP Rocky, he has become known for producing innovative pop and electronic music. In 2022, he produced PinkPantheress’ hit single "Boy's a Liar," which reached number two on the UK charts, and its remix with Ice Spice became a top three hit on the US Billboard Hot 100. His self-titled debut album received Grammy nominations, and his remix of Haim's "Walking Away" won a Grammy for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.
