Neck Deep is a Welsh pop-punk band from Wrexham, formed in 2012 by vocalist Ben Barlow and guitarist Lloyd Roberts. Gaining early attention online with their first song, they expanded to include Matt West, Dani Washington, and Fil Thorpe-Evans. After releasing two EPs, they signed with Hopeless Records and debuted their first album, Wishful Thinking, in 2014, quickly becoming a full-time band. Their energetic sound and catchy hooks fueled a loyal fanbase, leading to successful albums including Life’s Not out to Get You and The Peace and the Panic, which reached the US Billboard 200. Following several lineup changes, including the addition of Sam Bowden and Seb Barlow, Neck Deep continued to evolve, supporting major acts like Blink-182 and releasing their fifth, self-titled album in January 2024. Their music is known for its blend of melodic punk and heartfelt lyrics, establishing them as a leading voice in modern pop-punk.
