The heart of the set is the EDK-1000 drum module, which offers a high-end feature set including 40 preset kits and 40 user-defined kits, 820 dynamic voices, and a wide array of professional effects such as pitch control, reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, compressor, and EQ. It supports up to 256-note polyphony and allows sample importing with space for up to 100 custom files totaling 335 MB. The module also includes 70 play-along songs, a 3.2" TFT LCD display, USB MIDI support, and 9 dedicated faders for individual volume control of pads, songs, and metronome. Recording functionality allows up to 15 songs to be saved directly to the module.
