Pusha T, born Terrence LeVarr Thornton in 1977, is a prominent American rapper known for his sharp lyricism and impactful presence in hip hop. He first gained attention as part of Clipse, the influential Virginia duo he formed with his brother Malice. Discovered by Pharrell Williams, Clipse released acclaimed albums including Lord Willin', Hell Hath No Fury, and Til the Casket Drops, becoming known for hits like Grindin'. After Clipse, Pusha T launched a successful solo career, signing with Kanye West’s GOOD Music and releasing standout albums such as My Name Is My Name, King Push – Darkest Before Dawn, Daytona, and It's Almost Dry, the latter topping the Billboard 200. He also served as president of GOOD Music and later established his own label, Heir Wave Music Group, supporting new Virginia talent. Pusha T is recognized for his influential collaborations, consistency, and has been nominated for five Grammy Awards.
