Torque and brake speed adjustment
Our latest digital motor control technology, developed from Blu-ray Disc products, allows you to adjust the torque and brake speed separately in four steps, ensuring precise control.

Pitch control function
Fine-tune your rotation speed within ±8%/±16% with our digital pitch control function. It uses digital control from slider position detection to motor rotation, eliminating unnecessary DA conversion. This ensures precise and stable pitch adjustment for better tracking performance.

Replay function
Explore new creative possibilities with the Replay function, first introduced in the SL-1200 series. You can switch between 33-1/3 rpm, 45 rpm, and even 78 rpm.
* Note: Torque/brake adjustment, rotation speed switch, and reverse can be controlled by switches on the main unit.

Coreless Direct Drive Motor for Stable Rotation
The direct drive system uses a slow-rotating motor to directly drive the platter, offering high power, precision, and strong torque without the need to replace parts. While traditional direct drive systems have had problems with rotational irregularity (gearing), the SL-1200MK7 features a new coreless direct drive motor that eliminates this problem. The motor's improved magnetic strength and optimized stator-rotor gap ensure smooth rotation and high torque, similar to the SL-1200MK5. The result is accurate and faithful reproduction of the sound from the records.

High-sensitivity tonearm for reliable performance
A DJ favourite for years, the tonearm features a trusted universal S-shaped design with static balance. Thanks to high-precision bearings, it offers better initial movement sensitivity than the SL-1200MK6. This means it tracks the grooves of the record precisely, ensuring excellent performance and minimal needle bounce even during intensive scratching.

High-brightness, long-life white LED needle illumination
Our new needle illuminator is designed for hassle-free and intuitive use with a simple push of a button. It features a high-brightness, long-life white LED bulb, ensuring you can clearly see the tip of the needle even in low light. Enjoy improved visibility and accuracy, making your vinyl experience more enjoyable.

High-strength cabinet and excellent damping insulator
Our advanced chassis design, inspired by high-end turntables, eliminates external vibrations and ensures perfect sound quality. The die-cast aluminum chassis combines with ABS and fiberglass to create a robust double-layer construction that improves vibration damping.

The spring and rubber isolator optimize the frequency response, ensuring high sound quality and excellent resistance to howling sound. It blocks external vibrations even at high sound levels, delivering clear and uninterrupted sound in any environment.

Removable and gold-plated terminals provide flexibility and connectivity
The power and turntable cable terminals are removable, making it easy to maintain and transport. The gold-plated turntable terminals minimize sound quality degradation - preventing corrosion and oxidation, ensuring a stable and high-quality connection. This design allows for easy cable replacement and upgrades and keeps the system in optimal condition.
