Its proprietary In-Body Tuning System uses standard chrome-plated tuning machines relocated into the body, eliminating the need for a headstock. It also features a custom under-saddle piezo pickup (like standard acoustic/acoustic electric guitars) and an Alnico single-coil electric pickup, so it allows you to play a breadth of tones and styles with just one instrument, plus a three-way pickup selector and Volume/Blend/Volume controls. The 628.65mm scale neck-through body sounds great through acoustic and electric amplifiers, or through its unique internal resonant pickup system with the included stethophone headset, which allows for private listening without batteries or an amp. The body and the one-piece neck are both made of Eastern American hard maple wood, and the neck is fitted with an ebonized rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium frets and vintage clay dot inlays. The lap rest is detachable for easy transport, so guitar and included deluxe gig bag fit easily in any airline overhead compartment. The guitar also comes equipped with D’Addario EJ15 strings.
