Whigfield is an Italian dance music project fronted by Danish singer Sannie Charlotte Carlson. Rising to fame in the 1990s, Whigfield became internationally recognized for the hit single "Saturday Night". Carlson, who was living in Italy at the time, worked with producer Larry Pignagnoli, leading to further chart successes with singles like "Another Day", "Sexy Eyes", and "Think of You". These songs found popularity across Europe, reaching the top ten in countries such as the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and Denmark. In 2018, Carlson took part in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the song "Boys on Girls".
